The Bunny Kiss

Well, the absolutely marvelous news from the yard is that we have not just one, not just two, but at least THREE different rabbits, all different sizes! We looked out the window on this evening and discovered them all out and about, enjoying snacks and play. Clearly, there were THREE!

I've already introduced you to the tiny rabbit. It was the disapproving one in my prior Blip. The two in the photo above are the largest rabbit and the middle-sized rabbit. These two may be friends, or family, or even something more.

I sat and watched them for a while, my camera clicking, as the bunnies enjoyed feasting on the wonderful green grasses in our yard. No, we do not use poison, and my husband mows minimally, leaving the grass quite long in some areas. This is where the bigger bunnies like to play and hang out.

I was simply sitting happily watching all of this, when it seemed like the two bunnies almost shared a kiss. Yes, perhaps they were just going for the same piece of clover when their faces met, like that spaghetti-and-meatballs scene in the movie Lady and the Tramp. But then again, maybe it was actually . . . a kiss. :-)
