The finished article.

So here is the finished Christening cake , and I am very pleased with the result. The Cake topper that Mrs Tbay Jnr ordered failed to arrive so we had to improvise. The Peter Rabbit she already had and the little basket Worcester basket was my Grandmothers . A nice touch we thought.

A very HOT and very busy day. It started off In typical Tbay fashion with a good old dog fight. Fortunately I managed to get them apart before any real damage was done!! Once over this upset it was all hands to the decks to finish off the preparations for tomorrow. I majored on finishing the cake and then the Church flowers. See extra . Much sweeping, cleaning and tidying ensued. Mr Tbay must have lost pounds today the amount the poor chap sweated! Even I glowed!

Then the next crisis! The bouncy castle we ordered from one of our tenants had been forgotten! Panic! However he managed to restructure his bookings and as I type this one has just arrived at 11:00pm! Phew!

Our chiller unit arrived on time and was duly filled with much wine and lots of water in preparation for the hot day ahead!

Our friend the W’s arrived mid afternoon and joined in the fun and games. All too soon it was supper times and another BBQ, thanks to Mrs Tbay Jnrs sister who has been chief cook and bottle washer for th east few days. We sat outside enjoying the pleasures of the balmy evening and listening to Harry exercise his lungs to full capacity. Just to aid the situation we had another dog fight when once again Pip came worse off. She is now limping and looking rather sorry for herself. Grrrrrrrrrrr!!!

Harry was not a happy camper and all efforts to get him to sleep seemed to fail. The crying continued until once again he was brought down stairs. The on Aunty L to the rescue! She wheeled him around the Farm for nearly an hour when eventually he succumbed to sleep. Do hope this lasts!

I am now off to feed the ponies and lock up the hens, then up the little wooden hill to my soft comfortable bed. I am now back to carrying Pip up the stairs again. Flipping heck!
