On the edge

It wasn't a typical 4th of July for us.  Usually, we are up at the farm with family.  This year......there wouldn't be anything happening, so we stayed home.  Sugar had spent the night with her cousins, so The Hubby and I had a quiet day together.  I read quite a bit, and he relaxed, in prep to be gone running a boat for a fellow fisherman.  

In the early evening, I grabbed Sugar from her cousin's and we headed home for dinner, and time with our family.  I was NOT feeling like photos...so took a quick shot of this flower in our yard. The lens was wide open...so the only thing in focus is a tiny part of the front petals.  oops!  I just haven't been feeling like photography lately at all.
