The Heart

Everyone always says that the kitchen is the heart of the house and I definitely agree.

I spend so much time in the kitchen chopping, slicing, boiling, cleaning, chatting - it is always a hive of activity.

I do love the kitchen and though I sometimes dread preparing the next days lunch or tackling the washing up it is always the place I go to for comfort eg boiling the kettle for much needed cup of coffee in the morning.
