A short morning walk to the shore of Grasmere. This was taken 10 minutes before the surface was disturbed by ducks and two swimmers. 

There was no water flowing over the weir and the River Rothay is very low. Standing on the bridge (which is surrounded by scaffolding) I could see emerald damselflies darting around above the river.
