Crew

Eldest and I trekked over to Ipswich last night after I finished work - a smooth journey that had us arriving around 12.30am.

We left our AirBNB mid morning and found both the marina and the boat she was due to join. Both empty but at that point we were 3 hours early. To fill time, we shopped Ipswich and picked up the bits she left at home. Wagamamas for dinner then back to the boat.

We were met by the 2nd mate and one other crew member. After chatting for a bit, they left to watch football in a pub and I left to drive home.

I finally arrived home, again after a very smooth journey (and a quick detour to visit my Mum on holiday in Dorset) around 11pm. The things we do for our kids huh?!
