Garden Club Outing

Every month through the summer the Burray and South Ronaldsay Garden Club have an outing, and this month it was my turn to organise it.  

Twenty of us went to Kierfiold in Sandwick to see Fiona and Ewan's garden.  It's wonderfully full of a colourful mixture of plants, little stones paths meandering through the beds and lots of interesting flowers.  Some super colour combinations, and lots of foliage, different greens, textures and shapes, proving that colour isn't everything. A really lovely relaxing garden to visit.

Followed it with a trip to the Orkney Brewery for tea and cakes!  A good day.
