Doorstep delivery.......

......direct from the bro-in-law's allotment this morning.....and just to give you an idea of scale, that courgette is an impressive 30cms long!  I'm thinking of starting tonight with steamed kohlrabi greens (plenty of butter and pepper) along with the roasted, chopped stems (maybe some minced garlic and a sprinkle of smoked paprika?), new potatoes (and MORE butter) and a couple of (cooked a couple of days ago) thick slices of smoked gammon. I'll work out what to do with the rest tomorrow ;-)

EDIT :: I'll maybe not do the roasted 'chopped stems' thing again......a bit 'woody', they'd probably be better used in a soup!
