Dawn's Journal

Busy Bee

After a positive and enlightening meeting with an adviser at my bank, I headed over the the National Trust's West Green House Gardens for a wander.  Despite the lack of rain, the gardens were looking wonderful - though I had to pity the poor gardeners weeding the beds and mowing the already immaculate lawns.  I think they were sprucing it up for the opera performance scheduled that evening, and there were snippets of arias regaling the visitors as they tested the sound systems.

This bed of Helenium, one of my favourite flowers, was buzzing with bees and provides my entry for BikerBear's Flower Friday.
