Lyle & Scott

I treated myself to something small today. I didn't go crazy like I might have in the past as I'm being careful with my money these days. It's just that my newly emerging frame requires clothes that fit a little better so I stopped off and got this. A Lyle and Scott polo shirt.

I also got it because I have turned a corner at work and i'll tell you why. Compliments about me have been flowing my way. People have been asking for my advice and I've even been asked if I'll stay on in Cornwall for a few more months (we'll see about that one). It's a lot like it used to be. I stand tall today. I should do because I have remembered that I am very good at my job.

What's really made me smile though is that I have written a core objective for my chartership submission. What I've written is flannel but it doesn't matter because it's now there. On paper. It wasn't before.

One small step for man ........ :)
