A flying visit!

Swallows have made a nest in our “oil tank” shed and here is one of them flying out from it.
The door is partially closed as I don’t want Mittens or one of our “ visiting” cats getting in.
It’s amazing to see the swallows swooping into the shed, presumably with some food for their young, and then a few seconds later coming out, again at great speed. They seem to visit every couple of minutes.
It wasn’t easy to get a photo of him and I have lots of images of an empty space!
