Thanks to our great house sitters all our plants have survived the continuing heatwave.
If it were not for their very frequent watering and care, we would have returned to a desert devoid of vegetation

The tomatoes in the Polytunnel that are close to the open entrance and getting plenty of sunshine, are growing bigger and beginning to redden. I can't wait to taste the first one and compare it to the supermarket's variety.
