Snow!!
So I start the morning realizing I had set my alarm 30 mins later then I should have. Rush, rush, rush and out the door to discover it had snowed and I had an inch of the sloppy wet frozen stuff all over my car. I searched my car and the garage for the ice scraper and couldn't find it so resorted to my gloved hand to clear the car. No problem, off I go to work. Within 10 mins of my drive I realize my tires on the right hand side must be low as the car is pulling strongly to the right. Then my low gas indicator flashed on. Pull over to a gas station to fill up and check the pressure in all my tires. Hmm, both tires on the right hand side are down to 15 psi. I had to pay to use the air compressor and then filled them up to 30 psi. Off to work I go again, very late by now.
I managed to make up some time and was only 10 mins late after all that. All of this occurred before the sun had even risen in the sky so I had no chance of a good blip of the snow. It didn't snow in Penticton at all. When I walked back to my car there was still a smidge of snow left on the hood so that's what I blipped. The tires of my car where semi flat again so I filled them up at gas station again, drove back home, picked up the kids and went to the tire store. Time for new winter tires! By the time we got home it was dark again so no chance of all the snow that had fallen here.
