Gate

On a walk up to Brinkie's Brae, Stromness, late this afternoon I spotted this old gate that has been bent into a lovely shape.
The extra is the view from the top of the hill looking down over the little town of Stromness, the Holms (small islands, Inner Holm and Outer Holm) and the Stromness to Scrabster ferry just about to set off on the evening return trip.
