Patience
We had a lovely, spontaneous day trip to Arran today. Pub lunch sitting in the sunshine, wander through Brodick castle gardens, with a stop at the squirrel hide (none spotted).
I noticed the skeleton of a boat nestled in the bay when we arrived and thought it might make a good subject so I looked for it again on our way back to the ferry. Much to my delight, there was a heron perched on it. I crept closer and it stayed still long enough for me to get a photo. I’d lugged my big camera with me all day, hoping to get some interesting photos. Worth it for this!
Extra is a view from the ferry on the way home, looking back to island..
