Hotting up

Very excited to see this chilli starting to turn red today - only yesterday we were bemoaning the fact that this plant seemed to have stopped in its tracks - it didn't seem to be growing or flowering any more and none of the chillies was ripening.  It must have been listening....

Another stupidly hot day.  Tim went and got his hair cut this morning, and I cleaned the kitchen before it got too hot.  Which it did just a little later.  This afternoon I made a birthday card for Tim, and wrapped his presents, too - then got my tripod out and took a few shots of the chillies.
