Mother's ruin

When Normous finished this bottle of gin I persuaded him not to discard the bottle as it is so beautiful. With the current craze for craft gins sweeping the country, there are some lovely bottles. This bottle was a present from son J and it contained Silent Pool Gin. The label says they draw water from the Silent Pool (not too far from here) and they claim the gin has floral layers of lavender and chamomile, notes of citrus and kaffir lime, grounded with the subtle sweetness of local honey. I don't drink gin, so I couldn't tell you if these flavours are apparent!
I put the bottle on top of a wall to take its photo, hoping to do it justice.
