Oh the Cuteness

The canal has been teeming with babies this Spring into Summer season.

In this picture, all looks peaceful and serene but we had just previously witnessed one of the other swans mercilessly chase other ducklings around - their poor little feet going like the clappers to get out of the way of (what we think) Pappa Swan chasing them ferociously.

Living by the grand union canal definitely has it's rewards - the ability to see the wildlife - trust me, there was no joy in watching Pappa Swan be angry with the little ducklings.
