'Outdoors Day'

A beautiful Spring Melbourne day today, not too hot, but nice and sunny, so we have spent the majority of the day out in the garden tidying up and preparing for the summer plantings.

A visit from Uncle Sang this afternoon has been a hit with the kids as he has been giving outdoor origami lessons on the front deck.

Here Mrs Rosewarne has just cut open our very first crop of grapefruits, they are really small and not a lot of flesh inside, but really tasty with a kind of tangy orange type sweetness to them.

Tonight is the local Eltham Town Fair, so we'll take the kids and Uncle Sang down to watch the fireworks display tonight. Great night for it.
