Three Castles Head
It's somehow felt like a very relaxing day despite cramming rather a lot into it. We've never been rushed but have been all over the place: a walk around the farm (peaceful) and responding to a few business emails in the morning (essential), a rendezvous with Mike for a cycle ride along the dramatic southern side of the Mizen Peninsular to Barley Cove (envigorating), a drive out to the far south western point to walk to the incredibly dramatic location of Three Castles Head (pictured here at sunset), a walk back to the car under a brooding sky (eerie), a run to return to the castle because TJ couldn't find her car keys and feared they'd been dropped somewhere (they were found left in the ignition), a drive to Schull to shower and clean up (much needed) before going to visit with Miranda and Jamie, two of TJ's closest friends here (utterly delightful) and enjoying a sensationally good meal of Middle Eastern cuisine which looked every bit as good as it tasted (heavenly). Arrived home late and feel into bed before blipping (sensible)!
