Tryst
Back blip - and then some!
This cast iron sculpture by Alan Potter is called "The Heart of Stenhousemuir" and commemorates the time when Stenhousemuir was a major cattle-market town. The Highland bull and cow sit atop a heart-shaped base - the Scots word 'Tryst' signifying both a meeting-place, as in a cattle market, and a romantic meeting or "date".
