Humility

There is nothing quite like some enormous waves to bring out the humility in surfers who perhaps realise that they are not quite up to the challenge.

The extra is I think Ryan Callinan taking a spectacular fall.  Looking at this I wondered that he didn't seriously hurt himself dislocating his hip however he looked fine in later shots so no serious damage done.

Needless to say the surf report man (Dave) said the waves had been the best all year and perhaps in a long time and there were world class surfers out there at Merewether this morning which was a call to arms for the local togs let alone dare devil surfers.
