At the Usher Hall to see the RSNO perform Thomas Adès' Dances from Powder Her Face, and Carl Orff's Carmina Burana.

But the highlight was a beautiful rendering of Ralph Vaughn Williams' Fantasia On A Theme by Thomas Tallis, my favourite piece of classical music: fifteen minues of Heaven, deftly handled under the baton of Peter Oundjian.
