Banton Loch

Back blip

A pleasant evening walk from Banton, through Andrew Dow's wood and past Banton Loch (also known as Townhead Reservoir), finishing at Colzium Estate. What started out as a fairly leisurely stroll turned into a slightly quicker pace towards the end, as I had a bus to catch to take me back to my car parked in Banton.

It was another hour until the next bus after that one and, although I could have retraced my steps and walked back to Banton, this alternative didn't really appeal to me. Although it was 7.45pm it was still quite warm and I wasn't actually prepared for a longer walk.
