Crocosmia II

One of my earliest blips was of this crocosmia in full bloom. Whilst walking Kara this morning I was struck by both the architectural quality of the dead flower spikes and the almost tropical feel they give to the Scottish winter landscape. The morning sun also lets them provide some much needed colour in the garden.

Still haven't traced the hedge-cutting elves...
