Bristol 171 Sycamore

This helicopter was doing a circuit of the disused Filton Airfield before it landed adjacent to the Bristol Aerospace museum so I quickly grabbed an image on my walk home from work.

Having consulted the internet I discover that it's the world’s last flying Bristol 171 Sycamore helicopter which officially returned home to Weston-Super-Mare in June this year when it flew to the Helicopter Museum and was later displayed at the Weston Air Show. 

I've not yet confirmed why it's in Filton.
