River of Flowers

Monday: Roses at Dusk

Cloudy morning, I made good use of the coolness to cut back the giant scabious, white cranesbills and dead daffodil foliage, into the compost bin for biomass.
When the sun came out it was hot again but with a chilly northeasterly breeze.
The soil is parched, these plants are being kept alive by waste water from washing up. The courgettes are doing ok on waste water too but we could do with some rain!!
