Rain!

Woke up to some drizzly rain this morning, which was great news for all the plants, not so much for the washing I hung out last night. The sun came out later, but it was a pleasant nineteen degrees, not the oppressive temperatures of late, and the washing dried.

I have been waiting to get a shot of one of my poppies which have taken root at the front of my house between the monoblocks of the drive. I really need to treat this area with some weed killer, but I can’t bring myself to do so until the poppies are gone.
