An autumn carpet

Autumn - there isn't a better time of year, when the sky is blue and leaves are vibrant shades of orange and red.

But even on a dull day, when this photo was taken, the gloom is brightened up by the carpets of Technicolor leaves everywhere.

This scene on St Andrew's Square, Edinburgh, brightened up my lunchbreak.
