Not what I wanted....

I spent the morning ( while at the laundromat see extra) researching star trails. I am staying at the starview primitive campground at Broken Hill miles from bright light sources and the are no clouds and no moon so what can go wrong.

1. My camera only takes shots up to 120 seconds max on “bulb”while holding the shutter down. Useless for long night shots I had planned. I hadn’t read that part of the manual before.

2. Every one in the campground decided to go to the bathroom while I was out in the pitch black night. All with kids and torches.

3 ....it’s freezing cold.

Decided to try again another night and post the photo of the laundromat as I like it better. My night shot at the weekend was better.
