1354. A Gift from Canada!

We arrived home today after meeting the boy for lunch and running a few errands in the town...to a large parcel sitting outside our front door...all the way from Canada.....

This was the contents of the parcel....the most beautiful, exotic and perfect painting of a flamingo....one which I had admired when the artist painted it and shared the image online.....with it came the most delightful scarf covered in these gorgeous pink birds and a bespoke card with an adorable photo on it too.....what a joy it was to behold!

And who was behind this absolute wealth of riches?  None other than a former fellow Blipper, Subjunctive....I am completely overwhelmed by the generosity and thoughtfulness of this gift...so if you get to read this Paula...I cannot express how opening this made me feel...a truly special gift and I thank you for sending me such treasures.....

It has made me realise what an awesome place Blipfoto can be with all of the lovely people I've met here, virtually and in person.
