A few weeks ago I posed the question as to why some of the little bee's on our lavender chose to feed on the short length and not the longer length. I have been informed that different sort of bee's have different length of tongues. Therefore those with the short tongues, (i.e. small bee's) can't feed off the long stalks which are left to the larger Bee,s
