Bumble Bee on Eryngium

We got home at lunchime today and after the obigatory cup of tea (there is nothing like a home brew) and getting the first load of washing in the machine it was time to inspect the garden.

Sadly it is really suffering from the drought and recent hot weather. Lots of plants look dead or are dying. At least the eryngium and lavender are survivors and they are covered with bumble bees.
