The stag outside Grasmere garden centre in his England football supporters outfit. 

When we arrived the scones were still in the oven so a bit of browsing was in order. The last of the vegetable plants were reduced to £1 and I found two courgettes. Then a wander around the outdoor plant section and a bit of photo practice.

After the coffee and scones (up to the usual high standard) we had a wander around the village and, while taking a different route back to the car, spotted this sculpture. 

I'm sure he would have looked better with blue sky as a backdrop but that didn't appear until afternoon. I was busy cutting the garden hedge then.
