The local countryside in summer

The grass has been cut ,  the sheep have been sheared, the moorland fires seem to be under control. 

The Fire Service are still on the moorland and smoke (or is it sometime dust) is still visible. The smell of smoke still drifts across the valley - some days in our direction some days not.
