Simple Life

One Of My Favourites

Today, I participated in a professional supervision session for the first time in my workplace. Since I'm a temporary employee and still studying, I've always been the one left working to keep things running. (The same goes for every gathering of the personnel, such as pre-Christmas parties.)

Thus, I felt quite insecure during the meeting: Was I really meant to attend? Was I expected to be quiet or actually take part in the discussion? Was it OK for everyone that I went along?

Such stupid thoughts when you think rationally - my superior had assigned the meeting to me. But then again, who wouldn't be nervous in a new situation, even just a bit?
