Beached driftwood

It amazes me how such large pieces of presumably heavy timber can get washed up on the beach. I liked the appearance of the decaying wood in the evening sunshine. 

After a recent thunderstorm, we were left without internet access for nearly 24 hours when a nearby Orange mast was struck by lightening. I'm a bit behind with catching up on blipfoto, but will get there again :)
