Lemon cake for a coffee lover

About an hour in to piping the design on this cake I seriously wished I hadn’t started. But it worked out okay in the end.
In other news today I handed in my notice having worked for the same Council for 12 years and 18 years for local government in total. Now on to totally new (and some may say very odd) and fun Work ... working for a local funeral director. I love it so far!
