One of the most iconic streets in Edinburgh. Maybe even Scotland.

Walking this street evokes so much emotion for me though, so maybe I'm biased. These monuments have been lining The Royal Mile for hunerds of years and will be for hunerds more. Okay, maybe not Camera Obscura but the Royal Mile is steeped in history. I remember climbing the long street when I first visited Edinburgh many (many) years ago with my folks and being rewarded with the sight of the castle and the views over Edinburgh. That memory will be one of my lasting memories of this place. Love it.
