Villa Carlotta

We have always thought the garden at Villa Carlotta will be at its best in late Spring. We used the first day of our visit to take the ferry over to Tremezzo and visit the Villa and the Gardens.

Although it is quite early in the season there were quite a few people around, but nothing like it would be in summer. The garden was beautiful and we spent quite a time wandering round the extensive grounds of the villa.
