Live and let die

I like to walk through old forests, with also trees that have fallen down. That is why I always liked the Fangorn and Mirkwood parts of the Lord of the Rings, for instance. When trees faal down and die, they always breed new life. Some of the first are fungi like these - surprisingly large (compare to the leaf of rowan also attached to the fallen down tree). The circle of life goes on and on - if we would not disturb it, that is.
