Doing the high street

Meet up with friend for a coffee and walk on Hampstead Heath this morning. Whilst sitting having a coffee on the little high street we were amazed to see mother duck waddling past with 8 ducklings - all quite new by the looks. They walked underneath our chairs and on by not too concerned by all the ooohs and aaahs from onlookers and slight worry about whether they were going to cross the main road and go onto the heath where they would find several big ponds to rest in.
