Visas

It has taken us 10 days of researching, phone calls, filling in forms, visiting banks, getting photos taken and amassing the paperwork needed in order to apply for our Pakistan and India visas.

We needed

Orderform to the company who will get the visas (as we live too far from the cities with appropriate offices)

Completed visa forms ( including all countries visited in the last 10 years) which are pages and pages long

2 passport size photos with white backgrounds (but India needed square ones)

Original passports

Letter from place of work

Last 3 months bank statements

Proof of address (council tax and utility bills)

Letter of invitation from sponsor in Pakistan

Copy of tour operator’s registration with Pakistan Government

Itinerary for visit

List of hotels booked

Photocopies of every page of passport

Second copies of every page of all the documents required

And not forgetting a large cheque.
