Maestranza Bullring

We took a late morning tour of the city's bullring, the largest and second oldest in Spain. As I've written before, I'm no fan of what I think is a cruel activity but I do admire the magnificence of the architecture which creates such a dramatic theatre.

Afterwards we took a walk around the nearby Triana district, just across the river, before heading back to the Cathedral area for a late tapas lunch, prior to our late evening flight home.

I would definitely recommend Seville as a short break destination if you've never been.
