Parched

The grass has died in our front paddock, no food for the animals who just wander in from the fields occasionally for respite from the sun in the shade of the old oak tree.  We are now feeding them in the yard behind.  Rumours of rain tomorrow or Friday!  Tim hopes to start combining on a neighbouring farm as the farmer's crop is ready but very thin this year.

 A dropped in to see us.  They are downsizing and  are moving up to Clevedon in just over a fortnight's time.  I hope they will be happy living in a town after living in  the country for so long.
