In the spirit.....

We had a wonderful day at the All England Lawn Tennis grounds today..AKA Wimbledon. 

D hadn't been lucky with tickets in his club ballots but we took our picnic and went by tram to Wimbledon and walked  miles to the non-ticket holder's gate to get day entry and then into the grounds where we got an excellent pitch on The Hill. No need really to queue for return tickets to the courts. 

Great watching and good matches...and this little man sitting in front of us was a delight to see. VERY cute and very soon got into the celebratory mood with his parents' empty wine bottle....He played happily for a long time. His parents were rightly proud of him!
