An early drive, Aylesbury to Solihull for me (Chris). It was my annual day as an assessor for my company’s scholars scheme which supports 18 year olds from an underprivileged background through university. It’s always a fascinating day with some amazing candidates and today was no different.

Then it was a fight through the Birmingham traffic to get up to Bradford. Once I was on the M1 and the time passed 7pm, the roads just emptied. I wonder why!! Made for an easy drive and I had to stop for a photo, never usually see the M1 looking like this at that time of day.

Now at the hotel we’re in extra time.....
