Bees

I saw an item which suggested attaching a milk bottle top to a fence with sugar water in to give the bees a boost in the hot weather. As a short term measure I found a stump of willow tree and balanced a plantpot saucer on it and placed it strategically between the lavender bushes. I don't know if it's been visited yet but it's a start for any desperate bees or butterflies.

I visited the girls childminder today in advance of his birthday, which was a trip down memory lane in so many ways. They both did a fantastic job of looking after them whilst as was at work and still think fondly of those times. Sometimes things move too quickly.
