Going home

Up to Dundee for 1pm and lunch with old college chums at the Café Montmartre in Perth Road, a step up from the old days when a pint and a packet of crisps in the Speedwell Bar (Mennies') was more than exotic enough for us.

Just enough time to stop off for a photograph on the road bridge before heading home to catch the semi-final between England and Croatia. After their extra time defeat I almost felt sorry for them.

Thankfully It didn't last.
