eye eye, what's going on here?

If you had a very strange (and possibly disturbed) mind you could read a lot into this picture.

I keep wondering what the one in the middle (Cyclops) is thinking about the couple next to him.  I assume they’re a couple - they seem very close anyway.

I’ve dug up all my wonky carrots now; a gardening friend said they have some sort of disease.  I’m going to have a lie down now.
